Steps to reproduce

When an <input type="number"> element in a form has a min attribute and a user tries to submit the form with a value less than min, the validation message in the tooltip reads "Please enter a value greater than (value of min)". That’s incorrect - it should read "Please enter a value greater than or equal to (value of min)".

This bug in Edge appears to be identical to the already reported bug in IE11.

I did not check languages other than English; I do not know if they are also incorrect.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a page with a form containing an <input type="number" min="10"> field and a submit <button>.
  2. Load the page in Edge.
  3. Enter “9” in the input box.
  4. Click submit.
  5. See the validation tooltip attached to the input box.

    • Thanks for the report, but the current text is mathematically correct, see Now, I don’t disagree it could probably be made less obscure, but I can’t justify the effort this would require.
