Steps to reproduce

With a grid of background images that have a grayscale CSS filter applied to them, some items follow the rule and some don’t. An example can be viewed here: http://locati.walthalldesign.com/archive/

This may be pure coincidence, but there is a correlation between the length of image url() and if it works or not. Longer urls seem to cause the filter to fail.
