Steps to reproduce

I have created a fiddle https://jsfiddle.net/mohanmanis/cvLhyhf4/1/ to reproduce it.

    • Thanks for your report. This is indeed a known issue. Input controls on Windows do not support text ellipsis, and we have not had the opportunity to add this feature ourselves. This is on our backlog, though.

    • I appreciate the response.I wanted to know
Is there any timeline decided on it and could you suggest some workaround if it is not going to be fixed in near future.

    • Hello,

Thank you for providing your questions. Currently, there is not any way to make this work for an input element, and the same problem applies to any element with the contentEditable property. We hope to have a fix by the next public release sometime in spring of 2018.

Here is a visual workaround: http://jsfiddle.net/SZYFw/101/
