Steps to reproduce
After I installed Edge on my phone running Android 7.0, I tried to install it on my tablet (Huawei Matepad 8.4 running Android 7.0). First I opened the Play Store and searched for it. I could not find it. Then I googled it and followed the link to the Play Store. It did not offer an Install button, and it said the app is not compatible with my device.
Two devices running the same Android version, and only one that allows me to run Edge. What gives?
Oh, I don’t know who’s error message is the one that shows up in the Play Store (Microsoft’s or Google’s), but it really pisses me off. It’s useless. It tells me nothing. How about what causes the incompatibility? Or if and when it will be addressed? Or a link to a page that gives a list of supported devices and which are next on the list? Anything other than “The error is that there is an error” type message that shows up.

Edge was running fine on Xiaomi Redmi 4A Miui 8, but stuck on suspicious url with no way out. So I uninstalled Edge, then tried to reinstall, now get ‘not suitable for your device’ message. As you say, totally useless as a message.
