Can't collapse/expand data groups in Excel Online Power Pivot table

Steps to reproduce

Following issue was first discovered with Internet Explorer 11.786.15063.0 running on latest Windows 10 Pro. This problem is also present with Internet Explorer 11.15.16299.0

The problem manifests while interacting with *.xlsx file opened in Excel Online (probably unrelated to the nature of this problem, but the file itself is stored in SharePoint’s Site library). Given Power Pivot table with data grouped on multiple levels (i.e. a top-level group of data consists of groups of data which might consist of further groups of data each, etc.) following problem becomes present: user is unable to collapse or expend groups on non-top levels more than once. Clicking on [+] and [-] symbols next to the title of group of data to - respectively - expand or collapse group simply does nothing. For top-level groups in turn, this fails to work only half of the time.

Regrettably I can’t provide links to any of the environments we have tested for this issue as they are all private O365 Tenants and thus I’m not legally allowed to open them to public. Nonetheless, the observed behaviours were identical in every tested case with IE 11.

This issue so far failed to reproduce with any of the following browsers:
Microsoft Edge 40.15063.674.0 (native in Windows 10 Pro)
FireFox 57.0.4 (64-bit)
Chrome 63.0.3239.132 (64-bit)

I attach screenshots of real case of this problem, but with data anonymized.
