    • Edge will not import passwords, credit cards or email addresses. NONE of the autofill features I loved about Chrome are in Edge. I have Edge set to ask to save information, but it rarely asks and NEVER autofills my email addresses. I end up closing Edge and opening Chrome so I can have the autofill features. Especially filling in my email addresses automatically!!! There’s nothing more frustrating than having to constantly type your whole address in EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Edge doesn’t offer to save login information very often. It definitely doesn’t ask me to save email addresses or even offer to save login information on more than half the sites I login to.

    • was willing to try ESPICALLY

    • was willing ot use only after checking if I could import all passwords. was looking good your browser does surf faster until I tried logging into my sites it does not have my email or any of the other secure sites and I have at least 25 sites ranging from banking to gamming I trust my pc to remember so I don’t have to . having you load pages faster is not worth it if I cant get into my sites

    • In the meantime I’ve created a small tool which would allow you to manually import the passwords with the Chrome CSV export feature: https://github.com/gmanny/EdgePasswordImport/releases

    • The defective Edge browser is proof that Microsoft has given up in the browser wars. Edge is a good-enough browser for a novice user who wants to run their new Win10 PC out of the box, period. Chrome has won the browser wars.
