Steps to reproduce

Note: This is the same issue as reported in Issue #7871403, except this is specific to Private Browsing. I have added a comment to Issue #7871403, but since that is marked as fixed I decided to create a new issue for tracking purposes. Also the steps to reproduce are slightly modified from Issue #7871403.

  1. Open Edge
  2. Open a new Private Browsing session (Ctrl-Shift-P)
  3. Go to URL In Tab1 => https://jsfiddle.net/bxy3jjy4/
  4. Open New Tab2 with URL => https://jsfiddle.net/bxy3jjy4/

Expected output in Tab2 is “You have viewed this page 2 time(s).”
Actual output in Tab2 is “You have viewed this page 1 time(s).”

  1. Refresh In Tab 1. Value will be increased.

Expected output in Tab1 is “You have viewed this page 3 time(s).”
Actual output in Tab1 is “You have viewed this page 2 time(s).”

Actual value should be +1 of that incremented value in all tabs as done in all other browsers.
