Steps to reproduce

When watching a video on in fullscreen, the player overlay should hide after a few seconds when the mouse isn’t moved, but it doesn’t. Works fine in Firefox.

  • Actually this seems to be fixed in the new build 17115.

  • But the overlay bugs out when the video is paused in fullscreen mode (see screenshot).

  • Hello,

Thank you for providing this information about the issue. After thorough testing, we are unable to reproduce this problem at in Edge 17115. Please explain what is buggy about the overlay when the video is paused in fullscreen mode (I am not seeing it in your screenshot) so we can further assist.

    Best Wishes,

    The MS Edge Team

  • I uploaded an edited screenshot where I circled a fragment of the timeline, which usually should show the whole timeline and not just a fragment. Additionally I added some arrows which point to a dark bar, which is usually a part of the whole overlay. I added a screenshot of a paused twitch video on firefox for reference.
