Steps to reproduce

When I open a pdf in Edge it shows correctly (see screenshot 1), but when I reload (via reload button) the page (or close and open Edge) the view for the pdf shrinks (see screenshot 2). When I reload again, it shrinks even more (see screenshot 3) and shrinks with each reload even more (until it is very small after 10 reloads or so). If I zoom the pdf the content zooms, but the view doesn’t get bigger (so the grey border remains in the same size). If I click on the address bar and and press enter to reload, the pdf reloads correctly though. This problem occurs on my Surface Pro 3 (in dektop mode and in tablet at well as portrait and landscape with local and online pdfs), but not on my main PC.

  • I found the issue. When using no scaling (so 100%) in the Windows display scaling settings, there is no issue, but with a scaling of 150%, like on my SP3, the issue occurs (even on my PC).
