Steps to reproduce

I have an epub open in one pane, and I am doing some work in other panes. I can tab through pages of the epub with the arrow keys when Edge is the active window most of the time. Sometimes, however, I have Edge as the active window and arrow presses have no effect on the page displayed. The only way I can get them to function again is by clicking somewhere on the page-line towards the bottom of the screen, which consequently brings me to a completely different page. In a large epub file like I am using, this becomes quite taxing.

UPDATE by MS EDGE TEAM

I can make this happen by
clicking on the epub reader Options or anything in the Options menu. In newer builds, I can make this also happen by toggling epub reader’s Full Screen via mouse click.

    • Hello,

Thank you for providing this information about the issue. In my repro, this issue only happens when I click on the epub reader Options or anything in the Options menu. We will investigate this, but please let us know if you find any other way to consistently
      repro the issue.

WORKAROUND: Instead of clicking near the bottom which is likely causing you to click on the scroll bar, one workaround is to highlight part of the text on the page and then try the arrow keys again.

      Best Wishes,

      The MS Edge Team
