Steps to reproduce

Microsoft Edge is the worst browser I’ve used thus far in my 20+ years of computing. Crashes. Lost information. Crashes. Crashes. MORE CRASHES. Unsaved progress. CRASH. I’ve been holding back on writing about the issues for the last 2 years. No more. GET RID OF MICROSOFT EDGE OR FIX THE BUGS FOR CHRIST SAKES… KCUF

    • Hi Kyle,

Appreciate the feedback and sympathize with your pain.  I am an Edge user as well.

As I am sure you are aware, Edge was re-built from the ground up and now runs in a secure app container.  There have been issues.

I wanted to mention that most of the start-up issues I have seen have been related to 3rd party software, usually anti-virus, modifying configuration or Edge settings.  This causes Edge to detect an external change and crash immediately.  Many vendors appear to be updating their install procedures to work with the new model.

If you are willing to provide a crash dump or a dxdiag report, I can tell you why Edge is not launching.

Thank you for your patience and for the new urban dictionary word.  lol, it is obvious now, but I had to look it up,
