Steps to reproduce

Updated Windows 10 yesterday
When trying to print anything in Edge, this error results.
Printer drivers all reinstalled.
All other apps able to work - Word, firefox, chrome.

If any app (such as Xodo Reader) uses the Edge print dialogue, it also does not work.

  • I have an identical Edge problem with printing to pdf. My laptop is brand new.

    I have no printer attached. But when trying to print in Edge, the dialog will show the error message of 0x8007007e. I have tried ‘repair’ and even ‘reset’ but both did not work.

    Print to pdf works fine in Chrome and Acrobat Reader.

    So the problem is obviously from Edge.
