Steps to reproduce

In my application, I am using a kendo UI Editor. If I copy text from somewhere else and paste it in the editor, additional style gets applied to the text on its own. It can be seen by inspecing the element. The same behaviour happens if the edtor is a simple div with contenteditable = true.
Both the scenarios can be seen here :
In Chrome, the additional style does not added in both the cases.

This behaviour in Edge is causing a problem if I set a maximum length of characters allowed in the editor. Edge and Chrome are allowing different quantity of text to be pasted because Edge adds its own characters and Chrome does not.

Can you suggest a way around for this?
Can we disable the extra styling being applied?

PS: In IE also, some styling is getting added
