Steps to reproduce

Repro Steps:

Open http://jejacks0n.github.io/mercury/ in IE 11

Click “Check out the Demo” button.

Click in the editable region.

Click “Link” button in top nav to insert a link.

An empty popup will appear and stay empty forever, with following error in console:

SCRIPT5007: Unable to get property ‘cloneContents’ of undefined or null reference
File: mercury.min.js, Line: 466, Column: 25786

Expected Results:

Every browser must support the ability to edit content with a rich content editor in a STANDARD way.

By STANDARD I mean, if ALL are behaving one way except IE, then majority is STANDARD and IE needs to be fixed.
