Steps to reproduce

Hello,

Since I got my laptop (Lenovo Flex 15, Windows 10) I have been attempting to change my default PDF viewer from Microsoft Edge to Firefox. When I open a pdf in Firefox it usually opens in a new tab, but whenever I try to open a local pdf file from my computer it opens in Edge by default. I have tried changing the default viewer from the “Open with…” page, as well as from the “Default Apps” page, and it will not allow me to switch. I have also tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox to ensure it is not an issue with Firefox.

    • Hi Jonny, Thanks for reporting your feedback. We cannot reproduce this issue with latest build. And also suggesting you follow options to change default PDF Viewer.
Option 1)Search for Choose default apps by file type

from start menu  --> Scroll down to  .pdf file
      –> Click/Tap on choose a default
      or current default app
to the right of a file type and choose an app to always open the file type with by default.
Option 2)Right click or press and hold on a file, Click/tap on Open with
, and click/tap on a listed app you want to temporarily open the file with.

Option 3) You will be able to choose to always use the selected app to open the file type with by default.  Right click or press and hold on a file, click/tap on Open with
, and click/tap on Choose another app
. Select how you want to open this file. These all options are works for me on latest build.

      Build Details:
