    • Hi Thanks for reporting your feedback. The driver is now distributed as part of the OS, and
as such, should always be in sync with the browser. You will no longer need to
download a standalone executable, just make sure the feature of the OS is
      installed

Settings - apps - manage optional
features - add a feature - Microsoft Webdriver

      Here is the
      blog post with more information:

    • Thank you very much! Somehow I miss that information (or at least it was not listed in Selenium website). If someone else is wondering how to make it work now with Selenium & C# -> just don’t pass edgeDriverDirectory parameter when you create the driver and you will be fine.

    • What a terrible experience.

      Suggestions:

      1. Update https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/webdriver/
      2. Update https://www.nuget.org/packages/Selenium.WebDriver.MicrosoftDriver/
      3. Don’t do this terrible thing - It is this kind of junk that turns people off to including Edge in their test suite.
