Steps to reproduce

URL:

Repro Steps:

  • Browse to gmail.com, and log in.
  • Click on a contact in the chat/hangout area to open a conversation with them.
  • Begin writing a message, then type Shift+Enter to insert a line break into the message.
  • After the line break, try to paste some short text into the message with Ctrl+V

Result: Nothing seems to happen, no pasted text appears in the message.

Expected Results:

You should be able to paste text into a multi-line message in Google Chat.
