  • It also happens when you just minimize a one-tab browser and bring it back up.

  • it may be a bug on the way edge renders canvas elements causing it to flip when the page losses focus

  • It affects Google Docs as well… Also, strangely, it affects not all the elements that are drown on the canvas

  • That is weird indeed, probably its some bug on the way edge renders certain elements draw to the canvas?

it could explain why it doesnt affect all the elements like u said.

  • I have attached a screenshot of a Russian game that is basically HoM&M ripoff. It is in full HTML5, the background is flipped, but units and some objects are drown correctly

  • Also quick mention this bug only aftects the new edge based on the chromium engine,as the issue doesnt apear to be present on the old edge using the EdgeHTML engine.

  • Version (Official build) dev (64-bit). First noticed using the Azure Data Factory ( When flipped, opening the dev tools (F12) restores the view back to normal, until you tab away/back again.

  • How is tis not marked as confirmed?

  • I can confirm this behavior. I’ve tried it on the Canary build on two different Surface Book laptops. One is running Windows 10 1903 and the other is running 1809. It definitely doesn’t occur on Edge on either machine…

  • It Is Also present on the lastest version of edge dev(

  • I noticed it with the Pi-Hole dashboard. The queries and clients charts both flip when the tab loses focus. Refresh fixes the display until the tab loses focus again. Running 20H1 Build 18980

  • Version (Official build) dev (64-bit). Still happening as of this build.

  • Seems fixed in

  • yes it seems fixed in
