Steps to reproduce

I have the same issue as #19230457. I wasn’t able to answer on that post.
I’m using Griffin Webserver with digest authentication in my project. Calling https://localhost let’s Edge Popup for authentication but the Server don’t receive the html header "Authorization". It’s empty.
If I call https://localhost/html/index.html it works fine. Other browsers works fine calling https://localhost. After login it will redirect to https://localhost/html/index.html

If I calling from an other device over Network (https://192.168.1.12) it works fine.

I’m using
Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1038.0
Microsoft EdgeHTML 17.17134

Thanks

    • Hi Edgar!

Thank you for contacting us about this issue! I notice that you are using a fairly outdated version of Microsoft Edge, could you update to the most recent version and see if this issue has already been resolved? If after updating, would you be able to provide me with a link to a page where I can reproduce this issue locally?

      Thanks,

      Zach

    • Hi Zachariah,
now I’m using the following Versions:
      Microsoft Edge 44.18362.387.0
      Microsoft EdgeHTML 18.18362

The problem is still there. I can’t give you a link, because it seems only occours on localhost. I’m using a self signed ssl certificate, because it is only for intanet.

      Thanks
