new DOMParser().parseFromString(new XMLSerializer().serializeToString(new DOMParser().parseFromString('<if o t>’, ‘text/html’)), ‘text/html’).getElementsByTagName(‘if’)[0].attributes[0].nodeName === 't’;

Expected: should return false
Actual: returns true
