Steps to reproduce

URL:

Repro Steps:

  1. Create the following registry key: HKCR.dlg
  2. Create a REG_SZ value named “Content Type”
  3. Set the data for the “Content Type” value to “text/plain”
  4. Open the Print Preview dialog in Internet Explorer and observe what happens

(Note: this bug is reproducible with other content types, not just text/plain–as long as “Content Type” exists, even null data will trigger this problem.)

Expected Results:

A print dialog should appear if the user tries to print. Print Preview should work instead of displaying internal code.

Actual Results:

Dev Channel specific:

No
