SVG image onload and onerror events do not fire

Steps to reproduce


Repro Steps:

Texts with “Image loaded” and “Image error” should appear. They don’t in IE11 and Edge. The do in Firefox and Chrome.

Expected Results:

The events should fire.

    • Without the load event it’s impossible to figure out the size of the image in time, making proper layout adjustments invalid. This is a problem in our app.
