    • Hello,

Thank you for providing this information about the issue. We confirmed the problem, and implemented a solution on a later build of Edge. We are resolving this issue as a duplicate of an existing internal bug report. We look forward to additional feedback you may have on how we can improve Microsoft Edge.

      Best Wishes,

    • What is the status of this? Right now if I do a new tab, focus does not go to the search/address bar. I have to click on it to start typing…

    • Is this fixed in the last version of Edge? I cannot update because of company policies, but this is a real pain if you use Edge and expect to be productive with it… And it’s been reported for 2 years!

    • This still doesn’t appear to be fixed in the latest version of Edge, when Allow Web Content on New Tab Page is disabled in registry/via Group Policy.

    • Ditto to George F. and here is another post regarding the same, and it was disregarded as a duplicate issue that was already solved, but yet not solved.
