Steps to reproduce

Repro Steps:

Pretty straightforward. Attempt to load a Flash multicast video stream url. For simplicity’s sake, I suggest using Strobe Media Playback as it’s the reference player implementation from Adobe.

Expected Results:

Be able to connect to and play back a Flash multicast video stream.

    • Confirmed I can reproduce this as well. As noted in the original ticket, this is likely the same issue original experienced in Google Chrome’s implementation of Pepper Flash, but is now resolved. See https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=243700

    • I have seen this as well. Hope to find a resolution soon.

    • To clarify, this is regarding Flash RTMFP multicast video which leverages the Windows Reliable Multicast Protocol. It’s an important feature for enterprise streaming that is not (at least not yet) exposed through any native alternative.

      Like Chrome, it may be the case that multicast support wasn’t wired up out of the gate.
