Steps to reproduce

URL:

Repro Steps:

  1. Open http://jsfiddle.net/cvrebert/o3h03pp8/ in Edge.
  2. Observe that the alert message shows an empty string.

Expected Results:

The alert message should show "A", since “A” is the value of the <input>’s “value” attribute.
For comparison, this test passes in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.
