    • Hi,

      I update step to reproduce this issue:

      1. Navigate to url: http://test.hlvtrinh.com/HTML_5/CustomizeControls/ScenarioDynamic.html?id=MultiControls_sample_with_HTML5

    • Hi Edge team,

      This issue also happens in Windows Insider/Microsoft WebDriver 14342. Following is the example code that I tried.
      public static void main(String args[]) {
      System.setProperty("webdriver.edge.driver", “MicrosoftWebDriver.exe”);
      WebDriver driver = new EdgeDriver();
      driver.manage().timeouts().pageLoadTimeout(100, TimeUnit.SECONDS);
      JavascriptExecutor js = (JavascriptExecutor)driver;
      int i =1;
      while (i < 1500) {
      System.out.println(“Time: “+ i +” is starting”);
      js.executeScript(“return document;”);
      System.out.println("Time: "+ i);

      The MicrosoftWebDriver is hang at 1025th

    • Hi Edge support team, I’ve seen that this issue labeled is can not reproduced. Is this issue was fixed on some new build or not.
      Could you please help giving some information about this issue.
      Thank a lot,

    • Hi,
      This issue also happens sometimes for executing async script.

    • Hello,

      Thank you for providing this information about the issue.
      The original repro steps hit the failure if you type into the search box and a search is performed. Reduced, we can capture an element, navigate, then execute script on it. We then return “Unknown error” which is the bug. We should be returning "Stale element reference". Affects execute async, too.

      We are pleased to report this is fixed in Edge 14393 and is available in our latest public stable build.

      Best Wishes,

      The MS Edge Team
