On-screen (touch) keyboard does not hide after action in address/search bar

Steps to reproduce


Repro Steps:

Start Edge while in Tablet Mode.

Method 1:

  1. Set Google as search provider in “Search in the address bar with”
  2. Navigate to www.google.com
  3. Type a search query into the Google webpage search box. Hit “return” on the touch keyboard. Google will return search results but they keyboard will not retract (expected).
  4. Now touch the address bar and type a search query (and hit “return”), or tap a history item on the drop-down menu. New page will load but keyboard remains on-screen. Repeat touching/executing commands in address bar, even switching tabs, keyboard will remain on screen until explicitly dismissed using the “x” button.

Method 2:

  1. Set “Open with” to “A specific page or pages.” Enter Google as the page.
  2. Close Edge.
  3. Open Edge, tap the address bar.
  4. Select an item from the dropdown, or type a web address and hit return. Keyboard remains on-screen.

Expected Results:

When typing in the address/search bar, the keyboard should minimize once the return key is hit (and the address/search will be executed), or a search suggestion/history item is touched from the dropdown.
