Steps to reproduce
- Plug in 5.1 or 7.1 audio system
- Open http://audioexperience.dolby.com in Edge
- Click on any device in the living room
=> The volume control is inactive in the video player
The volume control should work on Dolby Digital videos with surround sound. It should also be possible to change the volume’s value programmatically so that we can mute/unmute the video and fade in/out its volume.

Thank you for providing this information about the issue. When streaming in a compressed format (like Dolby Digital), the OS does not have access to the PCM audio stream in order to control the volume. Currently, we do not plan to release a fix for this problem.
