Steps to reproduce

URL:

Repro Steps:

  • Plug in 5.1 or 7.1 audio system
  • Open http://audioexperience.dolby.com in Edge
  • Click on any device in the living room
    => The volume control is inactive in the video player

Expected Results:

The volume control should work on Dolby Digital videos with surround sound. It should also be possible to change the volume’s value programmatically so that we can mute/unmute the video and fade in/out its volume.

      Thank you for providing this information about the issue. When streaming in a compressed format (like Dolby Digital), the OS does not have access to the PCM audio stream in order to control the volume. Currently, we do not plan to release a fix for this problem.
