Repro Steps:

I defined a feed url in “polling-uri” from the browserconfig.xml. To test it, I used “Pin to Start” in Edge
. Although I never got the RSS to work in the Windows menu icon, I’m facing another issue.

After I removed the pinned sites, my Windows is still calling the URL defined in "polling-uri". I know this because in my site Apache log I can see my IP calling GET on the feed URL.

How can I force Windows to remove whatever calls is doing on menu icons that I already removed from the menu??

Expected Results:

STOP getting feeds from removed pins

Actual Results:

Dev Channel specific:

No
