WebDriver is not able to type in unicode characters like â and throws WebDriverException: Unknown error

Steps to reproduce


Repro Steps:

WebDriver driver = new RemoteWebDriver(new URL(hub url), DesiredCapabilities.edge());
WebElement searchBox = driver.findElement(By.name(“q”));
searchBox.sendKeys(“Test Spâace”);
assertEquals("Google", driver.getTitle());

Expected Results:

It should be able to send keys without any issues. This code works fine in other browsers.
