Steps to reproduce

URL:

Repro Steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer to any website.
  2. Open Developer Tools and click on Console.
  3. Enter the following lines of code:
    var temp = document.createElement(“a”);
    temp.href = "tcp://[::1]:80";
  4. Check properties of temp anchor tag (incorrect properties shown). (host, hostname, port, etc)
    temp.host --> “::11]:80”
    temp.hostname --> "::11]"
    temp.port --> “80”

Expected Results:

Correct parsing of IPv6 Addresses with certain protocols.
Ex.
href=tcp://[::1]:80
host=[::1]:80
hostname=::1
port=80

Actual Results:
