Steps to reproduce


Repro Steps:

go to

check the UIA name of the text input

Expected Results:

For the test file:

the expected accessible name is
“name First name only”

the accessible name produced is
“First name only”

In edge only the 2nd label element content is exposed as the accessible name

Actual Results:

      Thank you for providing this information about the issue. After thorough testing, we are unable to reproduce this problem in Edge. Please test this behavior in our latest creator’s update 15063 or the insider build 16199.

    • It seems like this bug was incorrectly resolved and unfortunately didn’t get to the product group. We’ve recently got a report of the same issue and I’ve searched to make sure we don’t have duplicates and found this bug. 

      I’ve reactivated and added to our backlog of issues. Apologies for the confusion!
