    • This bug is still a problem in the latest build of Edge as of 4/6/2016. Every other browser fires the wheel event as expected. Please fix!

    • Hello,

Thank you for providing this information about the issue. We didn’t emulate the mouse wheel with touchpad, so we did not plan to release a fix for this problem.

However, the latest jsfiddle sample no longer repros and appears to be fixed in Edge 15063.

      Best Wishes,
      The MS Edge Team

    • James, are you sure you tried to repro on a precision trackpad (ex: on a Surface, or using the new on-screen touch-based trackpad in the Creator’s Update) and not a synaptics trackpad? This bug only applies to Edge/IE’s special handling of the 2-finger scroll gesture on precision trackpads. All other browsers work properly. All non-precision trackpads work properly.
