Steps to reproduce
This will be true of any non-PDF file downloaded in Edge; however, here is a sample set of steps I used to confirm the error message.
- Browse to http://www.7-zip.org/download.html.
- Click any download link.
- Once the download finishes, click Run.
- Rather than the application running, you will see an error message stating the file might be moved or deleted with options to Retry, Cancel, or View Downloads.
When a file is downloaded from a website using Edge, a user should be able to click open/run and open/run the file directly rather than being warned that the file might have been moved or deleted.
