Edge does misinterpred/mishandle CSS font-family

Steps to reproduce


Repro Steps:


Visit  and take the tour. The https://portal.office.com/AdminPortal/Home#/homepagetitle has applied the following CSS syntax:

font-family: ‘Segoe UI semibold’ !important;

Or just create a quick draft and apply that CSS property to any text.

Expected Results:


As the CSS is INVALID the browser should fall back to the default browser font setting (Usually Times New Roman).

I back up my claim with the official W3C Syntax: https://www.w3.org/TR/css-fonts-3/

“A font family name only specifies a name given to a set of font faces, it does not specify an individual face. For example, given the availability of the fonts below, Futura would match but Futura Medium would not.”
