Steps to reproduce

Trying to save a note or send a reply to a ticket in Fresh Service causes Edge to download a .js file. This should not happen and does not happen in any other browser.

Comments and activity

  • Also, this has been in every build of Edge since the Windows Insider program started. I have reported it in the past.

  • Microsoft Edge Team

Changed Assigned To to “Christian F.”

    Changed Status to “Not reproducible”

  • Seriously, did you even try and reproduce it? I just reproduced it on a different machine running Insider Build 14295. It does not work, it never has worked properly and you guys "can’t reproduce it"? I don’t think you tried.

  • Hello,

    Thank
you for your feedback on Edge. This item is not actionable in its current
state.  If you could provide us with some more information we would be
happy to look into this. Please provide:

    1.)
Repro steps, including affected websites when you see resources going higher.

    2.)
    Fiddler / Network trace.

    3.)
    Screenshots of the problem

    4.)
Output from a DXDiag report (for hardware details).

    Any
of these items would make the item more useful for us to triage and direct to
    the appropriate teams for investigation.

Also note that we do not have access to FreshService. If you could arrange some kind of test account that would go a long ways as well.

    All
    the best,

    The
    MS Edge Team
