Search queries with decimals treated as URL

Steps to reproduce

Entering any text into the search bar that contains decimals will result in the search query being treated as an URL. Examples of such queries would include "Windows 8.1". This happens when I have set up Google as the default search engine in Edge, on a new desktop PC.
