Steps to reproduce
Netflix does not open at all, or opens very slowly only, on edge. Much much faster and very stable on chrome.

I am unable to reproduce this issue; I use Netflix weekly in Microsoft Edge without any interruptions. Hardware information would be helpful in further understanding the issue on the Issue Author’s machine.
Hardware is Dell XPS 15, 16GB i7-6700. No changes from the originally delivered hardware
Btw, it works with every other browser: Chrome, Opera on my PC, Safari on my Mac. Just not with Edge. Like so many other things that don’t work in Edge but on every other browser, and that have not been fixed for months.

Thank you for the additional information. It would be most helpful if you could provide us with DXDiag output in a text file for us.
Having this information will help speed up the resolution of the item.
All the best,

Thank you for your feedback. Netflix works well when I try it in the latest build of Microsoft Edge. Could you please include more details about your issues? When you navigate to Netflix, how far do you get? Does video playback fail? What kind of device are you using? Could you please provide the output from the DXDiag command?
I’m having the same issue with Netflix. Upon looking for title, I will click on a title to add to my list. The window freezes and a comment in the tab states “Not Responding” it takes a minute or so to come back. It happens often. Does not happen in other browsers.

I’m having the same issue as Oliver, perhaps the same as the original poster. I open Netflix, choose my account, it looks like it loads quickly with no problems, but then you try to scroll down and boom, in the tab, it says ( not Responding) and a few seconds later a not very noticeable notification appears at the bottom of the screen saying the page is not responding, do you want to recover it. Now, sometimes if you do nothing the page will start working after a minute or two, but I usually choose to recover since it has an 80% success rate. Now that the page is working I can scroll down and pic a movie and everything seems hunky-dory, but CAREFUL, don’t accidentally use the pull down feature to learn more about the movie. That freezes the page and you have to recover it once again. After two or three recoveries it seems to have worked out the kinks and runs just fine. Usually
As one of the few selling point of Edge, Netflix working all the time every time should be your top priority, but I see you haven’t responded to Oliver’s Info in lets see… 4 weeks!?! WTF is up with that BS?
Same for me. Unreliable operation. Auto next episode always fails and about half the time need to refresh to start a video.
I’ve been having this problem over the last week. Netflix on Edge locks up after logging in (on the ‘who’s watching’ screen). Unable to do anyhting on the browser - even F12 doesn’t bring up the dev tools.
A very similar problem with the Netflix Windows 10 app (which I’m assuming uses the Edge engine). Seems to be stuck on the initial screen.
The netflix site works perfectly on Firefox and Chrome.
Other sites work fine on Edge and other Win 10 apps are also working. It’s just Netflix. I’ve tried reinstalling the Netflix app and even reinstalling Edge with Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge. Doesn’t seem to make a difference.
