Edge Just close you try to search directly from the adressbar

Steps to reproduce

Edge on Windows 10 mobile closes with no reason when typing in the address bar at the moment the Enter button is pressed to inicialize the search, phone used Lumia 930.

    issue on Windows 10 mobile, however we are having difficulties reproducing the
    issue. Could you please let us know what is your Edge mobile version?

  • I just uploaded a photo with the Edge Version.

  • I am not sure if it’s related. But I changed the search engine from bing to google and now it closes less than used to do. The problem is not every time I try to search. It happens more when I use a couple of words instead only one and always after press the enter button.

  • Thank you for the update. I have been testing this issue on 14.14295 however the issue is still not reproducible. To make sure this issue is not hardware or environment specific issue could you please verify the following test scenarios; 

    • Type about:flags in the address bar then press arrow "->" key.
         Click “Reset all flags to default” button and restart the browser then 
         test the issue if it is still reproducible.   
    • Secondly, during the repro especially when the browser closes, does the 
         phone vibrate? This will tell us if any of the phone buttons are triggered such as 
         start button or search.
    •  Have you faced this issue on different Windows phones?
    • Lastly, you have indicated that you press “Enter button” in your feedback. Do you
         see left arrow Enter key or white key with a black right arrow on it?

    More details is better for us to investigate this issue. Please feel free to send us any additional screenshots, screen records, repro steps or information related to this issue.
