    • Hello,

      Thanks for the feedback. I am not able to repro this in my current build (10586.29). Here are my revised repro steps that I am using (one minor difference).

      1. Go to https://jsfiddle.net/49upr5e6/4/
      2. Uncomment this line localStorage.setItem("test1", “item in local storage”);
      3. Run it and take note of box 1
      4. Clear localStorage
      5. Comment out this line: localStorage.setItem("test1", “item in local storage”);
      6. Re-run it and see that “item in local storage” still shows up

      My question is - do I need to comment out that line? When I ran it without commenting out that line - the item shows up in localstorage again in all browsers I tested.  If I do in fact comment that line out - none of them re-add the item to localStorage.

      All the best,
      The MS Edge Team

    • Step 5 should be reload the page instead of re-run it. The fiddle will default again to the initial state (the same as in step1) so no need to comment out localStorage.setItem("test1", “item in local storage”) as your described in your new step 5.
