Steps to reproduce

Create an html page with <form action="some.aspx"><button><img src="a.gif"></button></form>
When you click the button, it presents the “a potentially dangerous Request.QueryString value was detected…” message. All other browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) DO NOT do that.

      Changed Status to “Fixed”

    • Hello,

Thank you for the feedback in IE.  Unfortunately we are no longer working on feature bugs for IE unless they are security related. As a result this item will be closed as fixed since the problem repros in IE but not Edge.

      All the best,
      The MS Edge Team
