Steps to reproduce

  1. Open f12 tools

  2. In console, execute window.print()

expected: this should open the print dialogue.

SCRIPT65535: Unexpected call to method or property access.

preview.js (359,1)

This works in IE and chrome, and I believe it used to work in Edge

  1. Open printtest.htm in Edge

  2. Click the button

  3. Within 5 seconds, change focus to another app

Expected: print dialog shows

Actual: print dialog doesn’t show

    • I too am experiencing a similar issue trying to print any pages from the Edge Browser. If I move the site into the “Trusted Site” Zone the print dialog box appears and I am able to print but anything within the Internet Zone does not print. I am running Windows 10 Enterprise (1703) and Microsoft Edge 40.15063.674.0. One other item worth noting is that I do have EnableLUA set to “0” and if I change this to “1” Printing also works. When I enable the Developer tools and try and print I receive the following error "SCRIPT65535: Unexpected call to method or property access.
      preview.js (358,1)"

      Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is having a significant impact to our machines.
