Why is the last number linked and interpreted as phone-number? And who did this crime?

    • Hello,Thanks for the feedback. I do not show this as a phone number on my workstation or mobile device that I tested with. I am using a version (slightly) higher: 10586.29 than you are. It is possible this has been fixed in an update to Edge.  Are you able to get the latest updates and re-try?

My Win 10 Mobile test was done on a Lumia 640 running Insider Fast (Edge Version: 34.14295.1000.0) and the test was also not repro.  I setup a sample here: http://jsbin.com/kopevo/1/edit?html,js,output

Feel free to edit the code sample above to make it repro.

If we are not able to repro this would you be able to take a screenshot of the issue so that we can look into it? Perhaps with the developer console open as well so we can see the element as it is drawn.

      All the best,
      The MS Edge Team
