Steps to reproduce

To reproduce:

  1. Browse to this page on Medium:
  1. Scroll down to the 2nd GIF
  2. Watch in agony as Edge slows to a crawl trying to render the GIF even once.
  3. Bonus points if you have the patience to wait through a single loop.

    • I see this was flagged as "fixed"… Testing it again in Build 14352 shows it’s still a problem. Perhaps the fix didn’t make it into this build? If it did, this needs to be re-opened.
