    • Haven’t had an Edge failure today for some reason just the IntelAudio:(

    • after not having EdgeCP.exe problem for 3 weeks it has returned at the same time as KB4100347 ( sept18 update ) was installed.

      I had a intel audio problem also and this fixed it.

    • My first process error occurred on 9/26/2018… but that week(9/18-9/26) I was not online much at all. On 10/2, I got 31 process errors. and complete inability to connect to pages like google and bing and I would guess all pages… I was able to open those pages in IE. Rebooted and the problem corrected itself. I am going to check the RM on the wife’s surface and see if this is happening there also.

    • I had just reinstalled 1803 via USB and then let windows update do its thing. I’ve had the Edge error again today but not the audio error. I may try the Surface Laptop Drivers and Firmware. I have installed 1809 also. I wonder if the update you suggested will takr me back to 1803?

    • Ok NOW it getting weird… I wasn’t even using my system and this stuff is happening.
      I did not start Edge the whole day… I did have the system in Sleep Mode and trying to recall if I woke the system at the time this happened. I will be watching and checking the RM at wake up and see if the scenario is at the root of this. SMH… we shouldn’t be dealing with this is a mature OS (sorry S E R V I C E not OS). The same thing is happening on my wife Laptop w/Windows 10 Pro. At least 10 process errors in 4 days.

    • Wayne… I did not experience a version or OS build change after applying the update… not saying it can’t happen, just didn’t occur in my experience.

    • Demma, thanks for the input. For the last two days I haven’t had the Edge error occur, however, I’m using Edge quite a bit today so we’ll see. I’m running W10 Pro / 1809 on a Surface laptop that is two months old. I must say though that I do like some of the added features in this build. I have noticed that when I do open Edge, rather than opening the "start page", which is MSN, it’s just blank most of the time but if I select the home button it does come in.

    • I have not had ‘any’ reliability issues for 11-12 days now… I did repair (not reset) Edge (for the 3rd time) and turned off ‘fast start’ in power options. I also stopped late night / early morning updates while my security camera app was running. Whether any one of these things had anything to do with the change or all of them at the same time did, I don’t have conclusive proof. I will say that this is the longest I have gone without a critical hiccup.

    • Glad to hear the Edge issue has stopped. I tried the Edge repair today as well, we’ll see how it goes. I haven’t had the Edge issue since 16 Oct:) I do still get the IntelAudio error:

      I didn’t get the Edge error today but when viewing the site answers.microsoft, it kept freezing up.
