Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a web page
  2. Click a link (so as to enable the back button)
  3. Click in the Edge Address Bar (suggestions fly out)
  4. Click on the body of the open web page to dismiss the fly-out)

Instead of simply dismissing the suggestion flyout, this results in the entire web page sliding to the right as if the swipe-right to go back gesture was started. It does not correct its self until you swipe it back into place via touch or 2-finger gestures on a precision touchpad.

It’s worth noting I’m doing this on a Surface Book with a Precision Touchpad, though I was able to replicate the problem using an external mouse too.
