Steps to reproduce

I’ve found a possible bug within the following version of edge:

Microsoft Edge 25.10586.0.0
Microsoft EdgeHTML 13.10586

I’ve created the following plunker of the bug: Link

I’ve used all browsers varying from:

Chrome 51
Firefox 47
Safari 9.1.1
IE 11
And the following edge version above.

When you compare the plunker with all these browsers, currently edge for some reason overlays the absolute content on top of one another instead of below. I don’t know the reason behind this or why edge behaves differently but based on every other browser, this is probably unintended functionality.

Changed Status from “Confirmed” to “By design”

  • Chrome switched to implement the spec, like we do.
Firefox and Safari should follow suit at some point.
