Steps to reproduce

Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 Mobile doesn’t clean all cache/local storage and it continues to accumulate these files that makes the app growing in size fast. And there is no way to clean all this trash. The problem is that it can lead to low memory on the phone and only way to fix it is hard reset a phone. Please add option to clean all saved data from storage space. Production build 10586.420.

Changed Assigned To to “Brad E.”

    • Please add an option to clean all storage in next production build. Now I should use cleaning option but it doesn’t help so much. Day after day Edge add at least 15 Mb and there is no way to clean it all.

    • Thank you for taking your time to provide us your
valuable feedback. This feedback falls under a feature or design change
request. Please login to our Windows Feedback (or Feedback Hub) app (Steps
below) and feel free to file your suggestion so others can review your
      suggestion and vote it up!

Use the Windows Feedback (or Feedback Hub) app to tell us which features you
love, which features you could do without, or when something could be better.

      1. Go to Start Windows Start icon, enter the phrase Windows Feedback (or
Feedback Hub), then select Windows Feedback (or Feedback Hub).

      2. See if someone else has given similar feedback by entering the topic, such
        as Microsoft Calendar.

      3. If you find similar feedback, select it, add any details, then select
        Upvote.

      4. To narrow your search to a specific category, pick the category that most
closely matches your feedback (so it gets to the right people quickly). For
example, for feedback about the Calendar app, select Apps > Calendar.

      5. If you don’t find any similar feedback, select Add new feedback (In your
case you select suggestion option), and choose a topic from Select a category
        and then Select a subcategory.

      6. Enter your feedback (the more details the better!), add a screenshot if you
        can, and you’re done.

      Best regards,

    • Build 15.15252 has greyed out reset button on settings/apps/edge.
I tried to reset edge data on Settings/Storage/This Device/Apps and Games/Microsoft Edge.
After a hard reset and use of 2 hours no YouTube or other downloads, data is 71.1mb.

As it cannot be reset this will grow until I again hard reset this phone.

I don’t believe that a non functional reset button is by design.

Please review that designation, and report on a fix please.

    • Fast Ring - Windows10 Mobile - I see Res button gryed out.
Fast Ring- Windows 10 - Both buttons Repair and Reset are actionable

      For Skype team:
Microsoft seems to love to support their competitors more than their selflessly hard working insiders.
I called them 1 month back and talked for an hour to report an issues regarding skype on my Windows 10 Mobile, Windows10, XBOX. They supposed to follow up, that never happen. Skype is still a miserable and I see myself evaluating another platform if you guys cant figure out what are priorities for Microsoft- People who spend money, time and resources with you guys and are loyal to you or your competitors.

I have 2 Windows 10 PCs, 1 Surface, 2 Mobile Devices, Xbox, Office 365, Outlook Premium and pay for Skype. There are many like me who feel betrayed by Microsoft.

Trust has more value than money and most of the time Trust can get one a money but money cant buy one a trust. Clever one will try to regain trust of their end users or company can fall very dramatically no matter how big they are.
