Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Edge to a homepage of www.ebay.com
  2. Quickly start typing a search in the address bar (as page is still loading)
  3. Watch the cursor automatically jump to the search text box on the ebay page in the middle of typing
  4. Commence swearing and cursing at MS for allowing such an annoying bug to exist. Seriously fucking annoying.

    • Thank you for your feedback. I see you have provided your IE version but repro steps are referring to MS Edge. Also by looking at your IE version seems like you are missing couple of updates on your system. Having said that I could not reproduce this issue on both and IE. I also would like to let you know that we’re not presently working on feature bugs in Internet Explorer outside of security-related issues.

If you are reporting this issue for MS Edge, could you please make sure you have the latest public build which is 10586.494 (You can display this information by typing winver.exe to your start menu and press enter) and also provide us your screen record. This will help our investigation.

      All the best,
      The MS Edge Team
