Steps to reproduce
- Open the following site: http://uauauauaua.wix.com/mysite-1
- Scroll to bottom
- Fill in the contact form
- Click the “Send” button
The site hangs a bit, then the page reloads. If the dev tools are open while this happens they crash and become unresponsive from that point on, which makes this very hard to debug. Sniffing the communication from an external tool implies that the Ajax request does not complete gracefully, and that a Watson telemetry is sent to Microsoft. The scenario is running smoothly on other browsers, including IE.
Please note that the button is not of type submit and so this is not an issue of form redirect.
Attached is the event from Windows Event Viewer.

We appreciate your feedback. I see MS Edge crashes sporadically on the current public build 10586.494. However appears to be this issue has been fixed and the fix is available in the latest insider preview which will be available also as public stable soon. I will go ahead and close this bug as fixed for now, but if you see this issue persists in future builds please comment here, we will take it from here. Thank you for your assistance in the investigation.
All the best,
The MS Edge Team
